2003 Illinois State Tournament Congratulations to Alex Moiseyev for winning the 98th Illinois State Checker Tournament, held April 5-6, 2003 in Marion, IL. D.L. Fogle was the highest finishing resident and is now the Illinois State Champion. In Class B, Alan Millhone and Flavious Burgess tied with 21 points, but Alan won with honor points and is now the Class B winner of the 98th Illinois State Checker Tournament. Kenneth Ellison was the highest finishing resident and is now the Illinois Champion.

Alan Millhone donated $25.00, and Larry Keen donated half of his winnings ($21.00), to the Illinois Checker Association. The prize fund totaled $751.00, $501.00 in Class A and $250.00 in Class B. Here are the results.
